This is TundraClan's territory. What goes on in here? You decide.
Rainingstar studied the frozen ground, digging furiously down. soon, she broke through, reaching the warm den of a mouse. The blue-gray she-cat scooped out the tiny little creature, immediatly dispatching it with a swift bite to the neck.

{OOC| You could make sub-boards for the Tundraclan lands, or make a category for it and than put boards in it.
Shinedown stalked the bare plains with a rat locked in his jaws. He saw Rainingstar. He easily knew it was her by her sweet-smelling scent. His maw was covered with a frown, and his eyes as serious. He padded over to his leader. He dropped the rat, and it landed with a thump to the ground. Well-catch. He spoke softly, and than picked up the rat. Wanna walk together? He asked, it was weird of him to ask this, but he couldn't control it. It was like he was forming a certain crush on Raining. {;O}

{ooc} I know, but I like it better this way. It's original! ;}
"Er- Okay," Rainingstar meowed akwardly, picking up her mouse gently in her jaws, and trotting over the frozen tundra towards camp, Shinedown right by her side. "You know, Scythepaw needs a mentor." She commented, "I'm thinking that I might take him on as my own apprentice!"
Rainingstar waited for this to sink in before moving on, "When we get back, I'm going to hold his ceremony."

Rainingstar trotted through the frozen trees with her new apprentice, showing him around the territory. "Soon, we'll reach the FlameClan border," she told him, "I'll show you the EarthClan border tomorrow, since you're so keen to learn to hunt."
Purring with amusement, she went on. When she was about four fox-lengths from where she had just been, an acrid scent hit her nose, "Fox!" she hissed, "Scythepaw, hide behind that tree," she commanded the apprentice. Without waiting to see if the apprentice had done what he had been told, Rainingstar crept forward to a little hole in the ground that was the fox den.
Peering gently inside, as not to disturb the dangerous creatures, she saw a she-fox, and three cubs. Fox-dung! She thought, This'll cause big trouble! Rainingstar decided what she was going to do, and no cat, even if they'd been there, could stop her. Rainingstar snuck into the den, swiftly and smoothly, without making any noise. When the she-fox was turned around, she did what had to be done. She killed all of the cubs without making a sound.
Rainingstar was preparing to leap onto the mother when it turned around. Taking a shocked look at her dead cubs, the she-fox went into a fit of rage, howling, and charging at Rainingstar. Fear began to rise in Rainingstar's throat, and she wondered if she had done the right thing. But there was no choice now; she had to fight. Rainingstar leapt at the fox, her jaws wide in a snarl, and her claws unsheathed.
Hitting the fox with her claws, Rainingstar let out a fearsome screech, but the fox batted her in the side of the head, and flung her across the den. A tide of black rose up in front of Rainingstar's life, and the world was no more.
Rainingstar opened her eyes to see starry cats surrounding her, her mother, father, and Singestar, TundraClan's past leader. Fully understanding what was going on, she asked them, "How many lives do I have left?"
It was Singestar who answered. Standing up, the old black and white tom replied, "That was your first life that you have lost." Flicking his tail towards an empty nest next to him, Rainingstar saw that it was filled, but with a faint outline of a blue-gray she-cat. It was Rainingstar!
"Please, Singestar," Rainingstar pleaded, "I must get back. Scythepaw-"
Singestar shook his head, "Scythepaw will be fine. Your body needs to heal. You will go back to your Clanmate soon."
"Then I will wait," Rainingstar replied calmly, sure that Scythepaw would live and be unhurt.

Scythepaw had followed behind his mentor. They were going towards FlameClan border. The scent that flowed up his nose, was different than that of TundraClan, it must be FlameClan's scent and they were getting close to the border. His dark tail twitched excitedly behind him, as he padded through the area, not because of what they were doing now, but what they were going to do later, hunting. Once this was over, it'll be more fun.
As his train of thought rode throught his mind, Rainingstar had come to a stop. The small tom's ear flicked slightly wondering why she pause all of the sudden. Before asking way, the strong scent flooded his nostrils. It was the scent of... 'Fox! Scythepaw, hid behind that tree!" she said to him before bounding off in the fox's direction. Of course Scythepaw wanted to go see, but he obey Rainingstar and went and hid.
Soon, he heard alot of snarling and hissing. Rainingstar must be fighting the fox. But as soon as the fighting started, it became quiet. His multi-colored head peered from behind the tree. "Maybe Rainingstar is coming back?" he said to himself his blue eyes scanned the area. One paw step at a time, he came out looking around. "Rainingstar? he called. Of course he didn't know his leader just lost a life from the fox.

Shinedown fallowed his leader, and her apprentice. He was worried for her strangely. It was as if she was going to get hurt, evening if she had more lives, it was still horrible to see the life slip out of another that you liked.. A lot.
As he fallowed the scent of them, the scent of a fox popped up, and than Shinedown's fur bristled, and he showed his fangs. He fallowed the scent, and came to a den. "This must be the fox's den!" He thought. And before he knew it, the fox had pounced on him. He collapsed on the ground with a thump, and he noticed he was in between the fox's legs. Shinedown felt the jaws of the fox's teeth on his collar.
The fox threw him across the plain. And he scraped the ground with his back. pain raged in him, and it collapsed around him, he knew he had to fight. So he tried, and tried to get back up. Soon, as the fox was a tail length from him. He stalked across it, and than tried to leap onto it's back. He than did that. Shinedown's paws touched the fox's pelt. And than he bite the fox's neck.
The fox was raged but he did not let go.

Rainingstar opened her eyes to find herself crumpled against the wall of the fox's den. Hauling herself to her exhausted paws, she knew she had lost one of her nine lives. As her ears came back, she heard snarling and yowls outside the den. A farmiliar scent hit her nose. Rainingstar gasped as she realized- Shinedown!
She threw herself out of the den with new-found energy, hitting the fox dead on. It fell over with a howl of pain, clawing her along the side. It got up and ran away, howling in pain, over the FlameClan border. Breathing heavily, Rainingstar growled, "Thanks, Shinedown. And Scythepaw, you can come out, now."

As soon as Scythepaw step a paw out, Shinedown same and ran in the direction where Rainingstar was at. More yowling following suit. The small tom just looked more confused. He wanted to know how the battle was going and if everyone was okay. But soon, everything was quite and the two cats came back.
"Rainingstar is everything all right? Is the fox gone?" he asked. His eyes showed concern. The fight did take a long time.

"Yes, Scythepaw. The fox is gone. We're safe, thanks to Shinedown, here," Rainingstar gave her former apprentice an affectionate look, "We can go back to camp now. You can learn to hunt tomorrow. We've had enough excitement for one day."
Waiting to see Scythepaw disappointed, Rainingstar was firm with her answer. She was no medicine cat, but any more might be too much for the young cat to handle.

Well, it was good news that the fox was good, but they had to go back to camp. The tom wanted to say something, but held his tongue back growling softly. Scythepaw eyes dulled with disappointment. They didn't do anything fun, thanks to that stupid fox. He gave a small sigh and turned around heading back to camp, his tail doped. dragging on the ground.

"I'm sorry, Scythepaw, but I lost a life back there. I don't know if you need to, but I really need to rest. Maybe Shinedown will take you hunting," Rainingstar meowed, "But he had a rough battle, also, and I'm forbidding him to leave the camp today. We're going back. I'll take you hunting tomorrow, I promise."

Shinedown couldn't understand why Rainingstar was doing this. They were only little scratches that could get infected, and he would die.... Well. From that point of view, Shinedown just nodded. "Sorry Scythepaw." He looked back at Scythepaw as those words spilled out of his maw. He inched a little closer to Rainingstar. "So Rainingstar are any of your wounds serious." Shinedown asked, at least this was all he could do for her now...

Rainingstar purred at Shinedown's worrying for her. "It's okay, I'll be fine," she mewed as she rubbed affectionately against him, "Let's just get back to camp." The blue-gray leader led her cats back to camp for a well, and very deserved rest. {ooc} TO CAMP! {/ooc}
